I’m so excited to be featuring a collaborative blog post today with my good friend, Tina Sorensen. Tina recently introduced me to a company she is an Ambassador for, Noonday Collection. We had a great time styling the beautiful jewelry and accessories to feature on Gold Confetti. What is so unique about this company is not only are the products gorgeous, but they are handmade by artisans around the world, helping them to create a business and get out of poverty. Read my interview with Tina below to hear all about this inspiring company and check out the pictures to see a sample of the jewelry as well as links to the pieces featured.
Tina, wearing a variety of Noonday pieces:
Very Versatile Bracelet
What is Noonday?
Noonday Collection uses fashion and design to create economic opportunities for the vulnerable. We have artisans from over 10 countries around the world that hand make all our pieces. We help encourage the artisans to create businesses that lift their communities out of poverty.

What drew you to the company and brand?
I stumbled across the Noonday Collection website a while back and was initially drawn to their unique jewelry. As I looked into the stories behind the pieces, I was compelled to share. I find it a privilege to advocate for the vulnerable and connect those around me with the opportunity to use their purchasing power to change the world! The company truly has a passion for all the artisans and has provided education, training and business loans to empower these populations.
Serengeti Necklace (my favorite piece and shown closer up below!)

Nomadic Pom Clutch
What are some of your favorite pieces?
That’s an unfair question! I have so many favorites and it’s been fun to try different combos and see how my friends style their pieces. I love the way you styled the pieces for our little photo shoot, it was fun seeing how you put together outfits around some of the bold necklaces.
Funky Paper Bead Necklace
Decadent Deco Cuff
I would have to say that the pieces from Ethiopia are my go to pieces. Not only are they neutral and can be worn with everything, but they are made out of upcycled used artillery from war conflicts in the area. The beautiful women who assemble the pieces live in a community where most of them are HIV positive and can have a place where they get medicine while making an honorable income.
One of the amazing stories of an artisan from Ethiopia.
